Annette Hunter created Annyz Essentials in 1999 to promote and sell locally, giftware baskets and aromatherapy products.  The base of operations was in the township of Oratia situated in the famed Waitakere 'Eco' City, West Auckland, New Zealand.  An opportunity to expand the current range presented itself in March 2004 to which Annette acquired the Wickedly Gourmet brand from her very good friends who had started the brand in 1996.  Wickedly Gourmet handcrafted chocolates are now produced exclusively by Annette and are available to the international market.
